Hello! I'm Nastasia.

I believe design should be purposeful, intentional, inclusive, and useful. I’m inspired by the future and what could be.

Originally from the midwest, I currently live in Seattle, WA with my Labrador dog Jackson Elliott. I’m a Principal Product Designer and illustrator currently freelancing and open to full-time in house, consulting, and commissioned work. My services range from UX strategy to design ops to interaction design, and from art direction to spot illustration.

Previously, I was a Principal Product Designer at Outreach (SaaS) where I spearheaded the first horizontal UX program across their sales engagement platform for closers (Account Executives, AE Managers, and Sales Leaders). I led strategy, workshop facilitation, and design vision with a focus on revenue intelligence and working better together across multiple products.

Prior to that I was the Director of Product Design at MedBridge where I managed a team of designers and led product & org management strategy, design ops, leadership, & process across 5 health product verticals. During my tenure at Amazon Device & Services Design Group as a UX Interaction Designer, I pioneered the first v1 multimodal device Echo Show, shipped 7 additional multimodal products with Alexa, was a UX career mentor, and co-founded a variety of company-wide community programs around design, culture, and diversity. Throughout my career I’ve also mentored for Designation’s UIUX immersive bootcamp, Hexagon UX Seattle, SVC, and the University of Washington. 

I have a penchant for inventing processes, systems, and frameworks that make people’s lives easier. I raise the bar by showing up, insisting on the highest standards, and leading by example. I have a passion for UX strategy, intentional design, information architecture, people, process, minimalism & holistic wellness. I also love to talk shop over coffee.

When I'm not designing or community building you can find me illustrating, listening to podcasts, exploring the Pacific Northwest, running on my Peloton tread, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, or curled up in a coffeeshop with a good book.
